The Netherlands’ largest comic con announces its second special guest for its winter edition on Nov. 23 and 24, 2024. Actor Graham McTavish, best known as dwarf Dwalin in The Hobbit-trilogy, has been confirmed for the event at the Jaarbeurs Utrecht. Fans can have their picture taken with the actor, get an autograph and ask him a question. Earlier, voice actor Matthew Mercer was announced for the event.
Graham McTavish is a Scottish actor with many notable roles to his name. One can recognize him as dwarf Dwalin in the popular The Hobbit-trilogy, Dougal MacKenzie in the hit show Outlander and The Saint of Killers in Preachers. Most recently, the actor was seen as Ser Harrold Westerling in House of the Dragon, which received a Golden Globe for Best Drama. He also played the manipulative Sigismund Dijkstra in the second and third seasons of Netflix’s The Witcher.
McTavish also manages to impress as a voice actor. With his distinctive deep voice, he can be heard in series and video games of very different genres. For example, he could be heard as Dracula in Netflix’s Castlevania, Fergus and Murdoch McDuck in DuckTales and Doctor Doom and Johnny Blaze in the Marvel video game Midnight Suns. In addition, he spoke the audiobook Clanlands in, which he wrote in collaboration with Outlander-colleague Sam Heughan. In the book, the duo goes on a road trip through Scotland. The two wrote a total of three books about their adventures in Scotland and New Zealand.
Graham McTavish will be present at Heroes Dutch Comic Con on Saturday, Nov. 23 and Sunday, Nov. 24. Fans can have their picture taken with the actor, get his autograph and ask him a question during the Q&A on the main stage.

Following the earlier success of Early Bird ticket sales, regular day and weekend ticket sales will begin this Friday.
