Although Hogwarts Legacy has been out for several months, those planning to play the open-world action RPG on the Nintendo Switch have had to wait longer for the game than those on other platforms – although that wait is almost over. With the game launching for the Switch next week, Nintendo released a new trailer on Twitter.
This is obviously the first time we’ve seen gameplay footage for the Switch port of Hogwarts Legacy (although we got some screenshots not too long ago), and based on what’s shown in the trailer, it looks surprisingly decent. There’s clearly a definite step back from the current-generation and PC versions of the game where visual quality and level of detail are concerned, but it looks pretty good nonetheless, considering that it runs native on the Switch’s significantly weaker hardware.
