After last week’s major patch 1.1 has S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl from GSC Game World received several smaller patches to fix problems. The latest, patch 1.1.3, is now available and fixes a bug in the story mission “The Road to the Foundation,” where a major character could disappear.
Other fixes include skipping the shader warm-up to temporarily prevent crashes during compilation, correcting ACCESS VIOLATION ERROR-crashes, and a bug where reverse axis options were not saved after restarting. Also fixed is the issue where you lost control after shooting, reloading and examining an artifact.
Patch 1.1.3 is the latest update for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl this year, but GSC Game World has many more plans. The company is preparing a content roadmap to be unveiled in early 2025 and is working on a next-gen patch for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy, updating it for Xbox Series X/S and PS5. Stay tuned for more details in the coming months.
