Half-Life 3 announcement possibly still this year – That’s Gaming

It has been quite an eventful few weeks for Half-Life-fans. One minute rumors are circulating about HLX that it is Half-Life 3 would be, and that there could be an announcement this year. Then everyone thinks something would happen on the anniversary of the release of Half-Life. Although neither has happened, Insider Gaming’s Mike Straw insists that a reveal is coming before The Game Awards.

In the latest Insider Gaming Weekly-podcast Straw noted that he has a date, but because it may be a trap by Valve to catch leakers, he will not reveal it. This would explain insider NateTheHate’s posting, in which he states that multiple dates are circulating and that he is working to build a consensus before committing to anything.
