The British organization Guild Esports has appointed Paul Kingsley as Chief Financial Officer. and company secretary. Kingsley joins Guild after most recently serving as chief financial officer of the student discount website UNiDAYS. She replaces the retiring Clare Jarvis.
Prior to UNiDAYS, Kingsley also served as CFO of technology firm Edge.network, worked at beverage companies Coca-Cola, Schweppes and Diageo. and is currently part of the Advisory Board of the British Beauty Council.
Kingsley joins Guild at the start of what will be an important year for the organization. The appointment follows recent investments made in the past year, including a £1M from an unnamed esports brand. The organization has also expanded into other titles such as. Counter-Strike and Street Fighter.
On the commercial front, Guild also secured a number of new and renewed sponsorships last year. In September 2023, the David Beckham-backed organization extended its partnership with telecommunications company Sky and last month, the organization announced a new partnership with trading platform ENDX and renewed its partnership with snack franchise Subway.
