If you grew up with Guano Apes music, but haven’t had the chance to see them live in Romania until now, here’s another opportunity to fulfil your lifelong dream.
Guano Apes are coming back to our country, in a concert as part of the rock music festival, Astra Rock, in Sibiu, which will take place from 12 to 14 August 2022 and is hosted by the Astra Open Air Museum in Sibiu.
According to the festival’s description, “ASTRA Rock is the newest and most promising festival in Romania and it is aimed equally at lovers of good music and those who want to spend quality time in the atmosphere of an international live event, but also to enjoy nature and related activities with their family. The concerts take place in the largest open-air museum in Europe and, at the same time, the most important ethnographic institution in Romania. The ASTRA open-air museum is located in a true paradise, in the Dumbrava Sibiului nature reserve. With an area of 96 hectares, an impressive lake, rich vegetation and over 10 kilometres of paths, the space is ideal for a musical event like ASTRA Rock,” write the organisers.

Alongside Guano Apes, other well-known names will also perform on the Astra Rock festival stage, this time from our country, as follows: Dirty Shirt, Coma, Luna Amara, Dora Gaitanovici and I’m the Trip. Obviously, as time goes by, there is a chance that other new names will be announced.
It’s good to know that the festival passes and tickets include access to the museum. More than 200 folk craftsmen from all over Romania will be present at the event.
