After recently celebrating its first anniversary with update 1.29,  Gran Turismo 7  is back in full force with a new update. On March 30, Sony Interactive Entertainment and Polyphony Digital announced the  release of Update 1.31 for Gran Turismo 7  on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

This update includes several new cars to unlock as well as two new track layouts . Among the vehicles added are the Audi RS 5 Turbo DTM ’19, the Mazda3 X Burgundy Selection ’19, the Porsche 959 ’87, the Porsche Carrera GTS ’64 and the Toyota Alphard Executive Lounge ’18. Additionally, players will now be able to enjoy two  new track layouts on the famous Nürburgring track .

Success despite controversy

Interestingly, despite the microtransaction and grind controversies, Gran Turismo 7 continues to grow thanks to the  regular updates  offered by Polyphony Digital. Players have long been asking for  bigger updates  and  more generous content , and it looks like their wish has been granted with this latest update.
