Golden Globes 2023: which films and series have been nominated, but actors

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association recently announced the 2023 Golden Globe nominations.

It seems that streaming services dominated the categories, as far as the TV section is concerned, while movies movies were also in high demand.

According to what we know so far, Netflix and HBO Max had the best shows this year, as you’ll see below.

Netflix is doing well again this year

Netflix’s The Crown received four nominations for Best Drama Series, Best TV Actress – Drama Series (Imelda Staunton), Best Supporting Actress – TV Series (Elizabeth Debicki) and Best Supporting Actor – TV Series (Jonathan Pryce).

Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story also received four nominations: best miniseries, best anthology series or best television movie, as well as nominations for actors Evan Peters, Niecy Nash and Richard Jenkins.

Other shows you can watch on Netflix that received nominations: Ozark (best drama series), along with a nomination for Inventing Anna and The Addams Family spinoff, Wednesday (the one filmed largely in Romania).

Netflix also did well in the feature film category. Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery was nominated in two categories, including Best Motion Picture – Musical/Comedy, and Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio also ticked two, including Best Animated Feature.

In addition, three more Netflix films received recognition for acting performances, as follows: Ana de Armas (Blonde), Adam Driver (White Noise) and Eddie Redmayne (The Good Nurse).

If you’re curious to find out who will ultimately win the awards in the categories announced above, you’ll have to watch the 2023 Golden Globes on January 11.
