The esports organization GIANTX bets to keep the team of Valorant which made history with an eighth place finish in the recent World Cup of the ‘shooter’ of Riot Games contested in Paris. The Malaga and London-based organization has announced the renewals of Ara, Flickless and Grubinhowho will remain in the starting quintet together with Cloud and Westsidewho were already under contract with the club. With this move, GIANTX ties the entire block that has been the sensation of EMEA in recent months and has just signed an applauded role in one of the most important international esports events.
After keeping discussions with Ara, Flickless and GrubinhoGIANTX has activated the clause confirming the continuity of the three players. Ara and Flickless arrived from UCAMand Grubinho came from KOI. The performance of the three additions has been both outstanding and immediate. Cloud and Westside already had contract until 2026, as well as coach Pipson. The club is working to retain the rest of the technical staff. Youth to powerThe oldest player, Flickless, was born in June 2002.
The results achieved in 2025, particularly in the second half of the year, with a runner-up in EMEA after a comeback that verged on the impossible, and also the commitment of the roster members and their communion with the fans support these decisions. It’s a cause for celebration for GIANTX. It is also for a community that is looking forward to seeing the five of them together next year.
I am very happy. This group is special and, with what we demonstrated in 2025, it was only logical that the journey together would continue. Let’s make the next chapter even better. I am very happy to continue my time at GIANTX with this amazing group of people. We will achieve great things together.
Flickless
Any other decision this preseason would have been meaningless. We trust and support this team, they deserve more time together and we are glad to have them with us.
