Clash of Clans and Clash Royaletwo popular mobile games from the developer Supercellwill have an animated series on the streaming platform. Netflix. They have posted a trailer on Supercell’s YouTube channel announcing that the series will be based on both titles. In addition, the developer noted that the series is currently in pre-production.
We have partnered with Netflix to bring the wartime world of CLASH to life like never before. A new animated series has been greenlit and is currently in pre-production. That’s all for now. We’ll give more details later, but we couldn’t keep it under wraps any longer.
Supercell
Fletcher Moules will be the showrunner for the series, having previously worked on Clash of Clans animated videos for Supercell. The head writer will be Ron Weiner, who previously worked on series such as Futurama, and animation will be handled by Vancouver-based ICON Creative Studio.
Clash has been a worldwide video game phenomenon for more than a decade, full of humor, action and unforgettable characters perfect for an animated series adaptation. With a string of popular animated shorts, fans have been clamoring for a full-fledged animated series for years. Netflix is no stranger to adapting video game titles to the TV format, such as the critically acclaimed Arcane series based on Riot Games’ League of Legends franchise. The streaming platform also made an animated series for Dota 2 called Dragon’s Blood.
