Because from the squad that competed in LEC last year, only the midlaner Jackies, elected ‘rookie’ of the competition and more than a promise of the continental League of Legends, remains. Adam ‘Jackies‘ Jeřábek (Czech Republic, 2004) heads an exciting team that includes the following additions: toplaner Eren ‘Lot‘ Yıldız (Turkey, 2004), the jungle Can ‘Closer‘ Çelik (Turkey, 1998), shooter Oh ‘Noah‘ Hyeon-taek (South Korea, 2001) and the ‘support’ Yoon ‘Jun‘ Se-jun (South Korea, 2000).
GIANTX, which has based its roster design on data and advanced statistical systems, is confident of improving on the results of 2024 when the organization came close to the Worlds after qualifying for the season finals on the back of a team brimming with potential but not inexperienced.
We have hungry people, very promising young players, players who have yet to play their best games and also experienced players. We are confident in this process, in our criteria for building teams based on data, and we believe we are going to be one of the contenders in the league.
David Alonso ‘Lozark’, sporting director.
Lot comes from the French league, where he established himself as one of the most interesting ‘toplaners’ of one of the highest level national championships. Closer, who will occupy the role of jungler, has had a more than remarkable career, he has been three times world champion and knows what it’s like to win in North America. His previous club was Karmine Corp. From Fnatic, one of the most established organizations in international esports, Noah and Jun come from are part of an elite ‘botlane’.among the best of those who have played in the LEC in recent years. In GIANTX they are going for a title that has resisted them due to the tyranny of G2.
Leading the group is André Guilhotowho returns to the LEC for what will be his third stint as coach of the giants. Emanuel ‘Emi’ Ursachi and Nico Perez complete the GIANTX coaching staff. After a successful preseason, it is time to transfer the work of the last months to the server.
This is how the LEC 2025 is presented
The League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC) is the showcase for GIANTX, which also has teams in the international Valorant circuit and the Spanish LoL league. The most relevant esports organizations in Europe gather in Berlin to compete in this League of Legends circuit, which gives access to the Worldsthe Worlds of this videogame. It is the great dream of GIANTX, who hopes to achieve in the LEC the necessary results to go to the coveted Worlds.
Riot Games has introduced new features to the LEC and each of the three seasons that make up the league has a different format. Winning the splits gives a place in an international tournament that acts as a hinge between each of them. These tournaments are First Stand, Mid-Season Invitational, and Worlds.. These events will take place in South Korea, Canada and China, respectively.
