Galaxy A53 5G, ready with the Exynos 1200 chipset and 5000 mAh battery

Coming as a replacement for one of the best-selling Samsung phones, the Galaxy A53 receives a consistent increase in performance and other improvements, compared to the current A52 5G model.

Keeping the minimalist design, Galaxy S53 comes with changes to the screen shape and the edges of the case, but retaining the frosted-glass plastic finishes, appreciated for the pleasant touch and good resistance to wear and accidental bumps. Even though it is also made of plastic, the chrome-looking side frame manages to maintain the illusion of a premium phone, in part due to its well-cohesive construction specific to mid-range Samsung phones.

The main difference is the hardware configuration, Samsung equipping Galaxy A53 5G with its own chipset, Exynos 1200, with two high-performance Cortex-A78 cores (2.4GHz frequency) and no less than six Cortex-A55 cores (frequency 2.0 GHz). Android games are accelerated with a Mali-G68 evening GPU.

Although the preliminary set of specifications does not explicitly confirm, we can hope that at least the Gorilla Glass 3 used with the Galaxy S52 will at least upgrade to the Gorilla Glass 5 version.

For the price and launch date Galaxy A53 5G we will have to wait for the official announcement, which should not be too late. For reference, the current Galaxy A52 model was launched towards the end of March 2021.
