The Evolution Championship Series (EVO)considered the most important and emblematic fighting game tournament in the world, will celebrate its 2025th edition from August 1-3 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
This edition comes with new features that consolidate its commitment to innovation in the fighting community, among them, the expected invitation of 14 independent videogames that will be part of the Indie Game Devs Areaa space dedicated to promote and support emerging talent in the fighting genre.
Among these selected titles, the following stand out FrostFire -Battle Frenzy-, developed by the Malaga-based studio SUMACHU Games and co-produced by Kaiju Groupwhich becomes the only Spanish representative in this international showcase.
The inclusion of FrostFire is a recognition of the creative and technical work of a project that combines hand-drawn 2D anime aesthetics with dynamic and accessible gameplay, capable of appealing to both veteran players and new audiences.
The importance of this participation for the Spanish industry is significant, as EVO is not only the world’s largest fighting games tournament, but also a global platform with thousands of attendees and millions of streaming viewers.
