Ubisoft in collaboration with AMD has outlined the PC features for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. Players can customize various graphics options, including shadow quality, spot shadows, specular reflections, diffuse reflections, sun contact shadows and more. Check out the trailer below for more details.
Like many of the publisher’s titles on PC, there are also benchmark tools to check frame rate and usage of your CPU and GPU. AMD’s FSR 2 supports “most resolutions and aspect ratios,” including ultra-wide displays. Nvidia users can also use DLSS, although the quality of implementation remains to be seen.
Other features include support for high refresh rates and multi-core CPUs. PC players can also expect “higher frame rates” depending on their hardware and settings. Whether this means consoles will not run at 60 FPS remains to be seen. So stay tuned for more details in the coming months.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will launch on December 7 for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC and Amazon Luna. It will also launch on the first day for Ubisoft+ on Xbox and PC.
