Experienced world builder Jess Lanzillo joins White Wolf as Creative Director for World of Darkness – That’s Gaming

White Wolf, the official licensing and publishing entity for World of Darkness titles enjoyed by millions of players worldwide, including Vampire: The Masquerade, Werewolf: The Apocalypse and Hunter: The Reckoning, today announced that Jess Lanzillo is now Creative Director for World of Darkness. Lanzillo, an experienced creator of world-renowned gaming and entertainment franchises, joins at a crucial time as White Wolf brings in the licensing and publishing for World of Darkness itself to provide more unified, high-quality experiences within their modern horror IP.

Prior to joining White Wolf, Lanzillo worked at Wizards of the Coast, where she was Vice President of Franchise and Product for DUNGEONS & DRAGONS, having spent years creatively leading the franchise for Magic: The Gathering. Her proven experience in guiding and developing beloved gaming properties while maintaining their core identity allows her to expand the reach of World of Darkness in multiple locations.

Lanzaro has been a dedicated World of Darkness player since the release of Vampire: The Masquerade in 1991. Her combined passion as a first-time fan and expertise in amplifying player voice enable her to translate community desires into franchise development. As Creative Director, she leads the vision and IP development for World of Darkness’ story worlds across the transmedia catalog, including TTRPG sourcebooks, video games and other media. She ensures that the brand’s gothic-narrative and world-building remain bold, modern and true to its roots.
