Emerging rapper Jufu teams up with magical FPS game Immortals of Aveum for new single – That’s Gaming

Electronic Arts and Ascendant Studios today released the launch trailer for Immortals of Aveum released. It features the brand new single “All Time Great” by up-and-coming talent and rapper Jufu, who has partnered with This Group Productions. The exciting trailer celebrates the upcoming launch of Immortals of Aveum, the groundbreaking single-player first-person magic shooter available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC from Aug. 22 via the EA app, Steam and Epic Games Store.

The single “All Time Great”
Julian Jeanmarie, better known as Jufu to his 3.1 million fans on TikTok, is an emerging artist from Brooklyn, New York. About the collaboration, Jufu says: “All Time Great reflects Jak’s journey in which he discovers and learns to master his power. I am thrilled to be working with Electronic Arts and Ascendant Studios to release my new single at the same time as the launch trailer for Immortals of Aveum.”

The powerful song can be heard as players watch gameplay footage of Jak and other Immortals, an elite order of battlemages from Lucium. The trailer is packed with fast-paced combat and stunning environments, all set to a beat that gets players ready to save the realm.

“Basically, Immortals of Aveum is about the journey of a hero learning about and using his unique abilities. Jufu is on a similar journey and his music really spoke to us as an expression of Jak’s personality and confidence,” said Bret Robbins, CEO and Game Director at Ascendant Studios. “Additionally, due in part to our soundtrack featuring various genres of music, including hip-hop, classical and electronic, it was a logical choice to bring out Jufu’s unique sound in the launch trailer. The story of Immortals of Aveum
At Immortals of Aveum Players gain control of Jak, who realizes he is an “Unforeseen. This is someone who shows signs of an innate magical power only later in life. Reluctantly, he finds himself in the middle of a raging war. Led by the powerful General Kirkan and an elite order of battlemages called Immortals, Jak decides to take on an ancient artifact. With it, he can master the three colors of magic – blue, green and red – to confront Sandrakk, the powerful warlord of Rasharn, and his mysterious lieutenant The Hand. With powerful wizards and legions of soldiers on both sides of the Everwar, Jak and the Immortals face the challenge of unraveling the secrets of Aveum. Only then can they determine the outcome of the Everwar.

Immortals of Aveum will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via the EA app, Steam and Epic Games Store starting August 22 at a suggested retail price of €59.99 (PC) and €79.99 (consoles). Players who purchase the Deluxe Edition for €69.99 (PC) or €89.99 (consoles) will receive a unique sigil, three rings, two arm guards and three totems to help in the fight to save Aveum*.
