Elon Musk has his fingers in many pies. From making strange vehicles to shooting rockets into space to barely sticking to a social media platform, he’s a bit of a busy bee, to say the least. One of his many projects is Neuralink, a device designed to give you access to technology in your head.
Sounding equally dystopian and futuristic, Musk’s Neuralink has just entered its first human and apparently all is going well. Musk simply wrote on X that “the first human received an implant from Neuralink yesterday and is recovering well. Initial results show promising detection of neuronal spikes.”
Musk also revealed that Neuralink’s first product will be called Telepathy. There’s no word yet on when it will launch, but it promises many features, including controlling devices just by thinking.
It all sounds impressive, but we will have to wait and see what the technology is actually capable of. Would you get a Neuralink in your head?
