AI art is an absolute bonfire for the Internet right now. Some believe that they can replace artists with a few clues while still thinking that they themselves are an artist for making something using AI, while others claim that it should be stopped completely so that artists do not lose jobs.
We are already seeing the effects of AI art in some great ways. Secret Invasion used AI for its intro sequence, for example, and now Wizards of the Coast is being called out for using AI in its latest D &D book, Bigby Presents: Glory of the Giants.
The book contained work by an artist that was sloppy to say the least and has now been revealed as generated by AI. In a new statement, Wizards of the Coast says they will change their guidelines around the artists they employ so that this does not happen again.
What do you think? Is this enough change to keep AI away from D&D?
