Donald Trump is currently facing 78 total criminal charges, and a new case has just been brought forward against him, accusing the former president of interfering in elections and trying to undo a result that went against him in 2020.
According to the BBC, 18 of Trump’s associates along with Donny himself are accused of:
- Violating Georgia’s extortion law
- Request for violation of oath by a public official
- Conspiracy to impersonate a public servant
- Conspiracy to commit forgery in the first degree
- False statements and writings and filing of false documents
Trump remains the leading Republican candidate for the 2024 election and has denied all charges against him and said they are politically motivated. It seems that unless he is behind bars, nothing will stop Trump’s popularity in the US.
