Dacia Bigster, officially revealed: everything about the biggest car from Mioveni

The Dacia Bigster concept, which Romanians could only see in filmed images and photos presented by Dacia and the press, appears for the first time at a car show, where it can be seen by the public.

This is the Lyon show, where the latest launches of French brands are presented.

Dacia Bigster, a concept that announces two important models for the Romanian brand, both Duster 3 and a larger version of it, can be admired by the public for the first time since its launch, which took place in 2021. Since then, Bigster was presented at various events of the Renault group and the Dacia brand, being brought to Romania about a month ago, where he could be seen by the car press.

An interesting event

The event in Lyon is not as large as the salons in Paris or Munich, but it is a first opportunity for Dacia to present to the public in France, the brand’s largest market, the entire range available at the moment. In addition to the new Sandero and Logan, the people of Lyon have the opportunity to see both the first electric model, Spring, and the new Jogger, an MPV with crossover accents, 7 seats and a compact class length.

Dacia Bigster will lead the series production of two models: Duster, a subcompact SUV, which will premiere at the end of next year and will be launched in 2024, with a length of less than 4.40 meters, and Grand Duster / Bigster, whose final name is not yet known, which will be 4.60 meters long and will be included in the compact class.

However, you will have to wait until you can purchase the model. It will premiere in 2024 and arrive on the market in 2025 at the latest. Both models will have the option of all-wheel drive, 4 × 4, and will later receive hybrid engines. Bigster will also have a 7-seater version.
