Crypto-friendly neobank Revolut opens to Brazilians

Revolut makes its debut in Latin America with the deployment of its application to Brazil. The fintech The British government is initially offering its multi-currency accounts and its crypto investment service.

According to Glauber Mota, former BTG Pactual and head of Revolut’s deployment in Braziltoday there is a ” growing demand “for access to digital assets in the country. Brazil’s BTG Pactual, one of Latin America’s largest investment banks, opened a crypto-exchange last summer and recently launched its own stablecoin.

Revolut has been making it possible to invest in crypto since 2017 and could, in the future, issue its own digital token. Recently, the neobank launched staking on ETHADA, XTZ and DOT.

The company claims 25 million customers in the world. Well-established in Europe, it plans to open up new regions in the near future with India, Mexico and New Zealand.
