The Crédit Agricole continues to build momentum around the tokenization. Its subsidiary CIB formalizes partnerships with FeverTokens and Casper Association to develop Web3 use cases. Priority to tokenization in finance and its blockchain PoCR.
The band Crédit Agricole is on the offensive on the tokenization of traditional finance. In 2023, announcements are multiplying. Last week, its subsidiary CACEIS obtained its registration as a PSAN.
The banking player begins the week with a new announcement from the head of digital assets at Crédit Agricole CIBGuénolé de Cadoudal. The latter formalizes the signing of a partnership with two players in the blockchain ecosystem, FeverTokens and Casper Association.

The three entities are “joining forces to explore new Web3 use cases “says Crédit Agricole’s head of digital assets.
“Each group brings a different expertise which, together, can leverage the capabilities of the Blockchain and smart contracts in the field of finance “he continues.
Crédit Agricole CIB, FeverTokens and Casper Association will focus on use cases related to the tokenization finance and its blockchain Proof of Climate awaRenesslaunched this year.
Tokenization and PoCR blockchain
Proof of Climate awaReness (PoCR) follows the PoW competition principle used by Bitcoin. But with one major difference: competition by environmental footprint.
The PoCR technology technology was used for a first bond issue in partnership with SEB and for an as yet unknown client. The operation involved issuing a green bond, based on the open CAST framework.
All V1 blockchain software components are available as open source. The aim is to encourage other players in the financial sector to adopt the model and contribute to it in a community spirit.
Joint experimentation under the pilot scheme?
FeverTokens and Casper Association are therefore potential partners, particularly for experimental projects under the pilot scheme. Le Français FeverTokens presents itself as a no-code player for the web3.
Casper Associationbased in the Swiss canton of Zug, is the non-profit entity overseeing the evolution and decentralization of the Casper network. It provides resources to “help accelerate the adoption of Casper and its growing ecosystem of decentralized applications”.
RoyalsBlue.com contacted Crédit Agricole CIB to find out more about this partnership and the projects to be developed jointly. When asked, Guénolé de Cadoudal preferred to keep confidential the joint initiatives of the three players, some of which will involve PoCR.
