Also for Dirk Benedict – who served as Starbuck in Battlestar Galactica and as Face in The A-Team one of the biggest TV stars of the ’70s and ’80s – is no stranger to the Netherlands. In the heyday of The A-Team forty years ago he and his colleagues landed at Schiphol Airport where 15,000 children and their parents welcomed him. They then went by helicopter to Harderwijk, Sneek, Arnemuiden, Texel and Paleis het Loo and by jeep to the Tros television studio. Ron Brandsteder recalled for a reconstruction of that legendary visit that Dirk Benedict was most interested in Holland and expressed a desire to return again. So with Comic Con Holland, that wish will be fulfilled.
