Coinbase joins forces with Block and its Bitkey wallet

Coinbase and Block have formed a partnership to enable users to Bitkeywhose beta has just started, frombuy Bitcoin on the crypto-bourse directly from the wallet.

Coinbase announced Thursday an alliance with maximalist Jack Dorsey’s fintech and its multi-signature physical wallet Bitkey under development.

According to the announcement, the partnership aims to integrate Coinbase Pay in the self-guarding wallet of Block – formerly Square. The solution offers a simple way to fund application accounts and other wallets.

With Coinbase Pay, users of Bitkey will be able to purchase Bitcoin via various payment methods, directly from the wallet interface.

Yesterday, Block at the same time opened the beta from Bitkey. The wallet includes a mobile application, a hardware device and a set of recovery tools.

The ambition of Bitkey is simple: build a Bitcoin wallet facilitating self-preservation and aiming to democratize investment in the market’s leading cryptocurrency.
