In addition to Clive Rosfield, TEKKEN 8 also introduces the new battle stage PHOENIX GATE, a crucial location from FINAL FANTASY XVI where tragic events determined the fate of the game’s main character. The destruction of the stage, brought to life by Eikons and stunning special effects, reflects key moments of his journey to confront his past.
Clive Rosfield and PHOENIX GATE are available to players with the Deluxe, Ultimate Edition or Deluxe Edition Upgrade Pack with the Playable Character Year 1 Pass. Both are also available separately or as a bundle.
To top off an exciting night for fans, TEKKEN 8 also took home the award for Best Fighting Game of 2024 at The Game Awards. The latest sequel in the legendary fighting game franchise, developed by Bandai Namco Studios Inc, is one of the highest rated in the series and pushes the boundaries of the genre. Taking full advantage of the power of Unreal Engine®5 to create one of the most visually stunning and immersive fighting games ever, the game introduces all-new game modes and features, including a new “Aggressive” combat system, completely revamped characters and destructible environments. It also continues the epic saga of the Kazama-Mishima feud in the franchise’s well-known Story Mode, now focused on the rivalry in which Jin Kazama takes on his father Kazuya Mishima and features the return of legendary and previously “completely dead” characters Heihachi Mishima and Jun Kazama.
