Experience the terrifying Resident Evil Requiem
The development team behind Resident Evil Requiem – the ninth and most immersive installment yet in the iconic survival horror Resident Evil™-series – has revealed brand new details about the game, which will be available for PlayStation®5, Xbox Series XS and PC via Steam starting Feb. 27, 2026.

Director Koshi Nakanishi, Art Director Tomonori Takano and producers Masachika Kawata and Masato Kumazawa explain that players can look forward to an experience driven by “addictive fear,” with horror at the core of the experience.

The team also revealed more information about the new main character: Grace Ashcroft, an introverted and quickly frightened FBI intelligence analyst – a new kind of character within the Resident Evil-franchise. Grace experiences the horror from the same perspective as the player and gradually learns to overcome her fears. Despite her timid nature, she has had weapons training and uses deductive logic to remain calm under pressure.

The team has gone to great lengths to achieve an unprecedented level of realism. Consider details such as Grace’s red head as she hangs upside down or the natural movement of her hair, based in part on a specially crafted reference wig.

As previously announced, players can freely switch between First- and Third-Person perspectives. Choose intense and realistic gameplay in First-Person or an action-oriented style via the over-the-shoulder camera in Third-Person.

Resident Evil Requiem is set 30 years after the destruction of Raccoon City. At the time, the U.S. government launched a sterilization missile to stop the T-virus outbreak. The game is a tribute to the many characters involved in the original outbreak – some lost their lives, others were drastically changed by it. The Resident Evil series is celebrating its 30ste birthday in March 2026, but Resident Evil Requiem is also its own landmark.

PRAGMATA gameplay shows exciting combination of puzzles and combat

During Capcom Spotlight, new details were shared about the sci-fi story of PRAGMATA, along with the first extensive gameplay footage.

The game is set in the near future. Since the discovery of Lunam Ore, mankind has developed Lunafilament – a material that can mimic almost anything. One day, Earth suddenly loses contact with the lunar research station dedicated to this material.

The footage shown delved deeper into this alien adventure. The story follows Hugh Williams, who is sent to the moon with a team to unravel the mystery. After an earthquake, Hugh becomes separated from his team, injured and unconscious. He is rescued by an enigmatic android named Pragmata – made of Lunafilament and with the appearance of a young girl. This unusual duo work together against the rogue robots, and Hugh names his new companion “Diana. Together they try to escape the lunar station and return to Earth.
In PRAGMATA hacking and shooting take center stage. During battles, an interactive panel appears that allows Diana to hack enemies. By strategically moving the cursor, she disables armor, allowing Hugh to attack weak spots with his arsenal of weapons. This system challenges players to think tactically in intense situations.

Reconnaissance is also a group achievement. Diana uses her hacking skills to activate systems or remove barriers outside of combat. Hugh uses his suit’s rockets to move through the lunar station. By combining their skills, they can accomplish things that would be impossible solo.

The official website of PRAGMATA is now fully available. In addition to new information about the game, the site also has a “hacking minigame” that allows players to experience some of the unique combat system before the game hits stores in 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam. The game will also be playable at Gamescom 2025 and other events. Follow PRAGMATA on Instagram, X (Twitter) and Facebook for the latest updates.

PRAGMATA is now available for wishlisting on the PlayStation Store and Steam.
