Electronic Arts Inc. and Battlefield Studios today released Season 1: California Resistance launched, the brand new seasonal content for Battlefield 6 and Battlefield REDSEC. Furthermore, later this month, new players will be able to enter the battlefield of Battlefield 6 enter via a Free Trial, which is available from Nov. 25 through Dec. 2 and offers access to five selected maps and three game modes.
The California Resistance update adds the brand new Eastwood map, set in the suburbs of Southern California. This affluent neighborhood full of golf courses and luxury villas is now a war zone where players have the chance to bring intense action to the formerly peaceful landscape.
Also added is a new raging mode called Sabotage, in which players must destroy as many locations as possible before the round ends. Sabotage is temporarily playable on multiple maps, including the new Season 1 maps Eastwood and Blackwell Fields.
Also Battlefield REDSEC expands its free-to-play offering with brand new content launching today. The Gauntlet mode gets a new mission and in Fort Lyndon, supply vaults (Prepper Stashes) can be opened during Battle Royale.
For players who master Battlefield Portal, the California Resistance update has transformed this toolset into a full-fledged sandbox. Creators will have access to a completely blank canvas, giving them more freedom than ever to create and customize unforgettable experiences.
Finally, the update introduces the California Resistance in-game event, available throughout the California Resistance phase, both in Battlefield 6 as in Battlefield REDSEC. This in-game event includes a Bonus Path, which can be completed simultaneously alongside the Season 1 Battle Pass.
