If you’ve been eyeing a motorcycle but are looking to be a little more environmentally friendly by exploring the electric options available, we may have a solution for you. As the Cake company launches its electric bike in July known as the Bukk, where this is not only a road vehicle, but also a bike you can take off-road for some high-octane fun.
Considered the “next level in the lightweight electric motorcycle category”, the Bukk weighs 89 kg, has a 0-45 km/h of just 2.15 seconds, produces 456 Nm of torque, has a 2.9 kWh battery that puts out 16 kW of power and charges to 80% in 90 minutes, and depending on what you want to use the Bukk for (or how you design your own version of the Bukk), doesn’t even need a bike license to ride.
The Bukk also connects to Cake’s Connect app so you can customize riding modes and styles, and if this all sounds like something up your alley, head over to Cake’s website here to customize and build your own version of the bike, which will cost about a minimum of £10,000 when it debuts in July.
