British government cracking down on pornography -.

The British government wants to overhaul the adult entertainment industry, following concerns that the growing dominance of AI could be used to create images of child abuse and images of humans without their consent.

The general public, adult performers, law enforcement and more are being asked to participate in this review, which will question the effect of adult entertainment on relationships, mental health and attitudes toward women.

Some in the industry see this as a pretext for more censorship, but it seems that any efforts made to address the industry are being made to protect underage Internet users from seeing this content.
“Extreme pornography can have a harmful impact – we owe it to our children and even to society as a whole to put the guardrails back in place.” said Baroness Bertin, the leading figure in the review.
