Actress Maggie Robertson has revealed that she will play the role of Orin the Red in Baldur’s Gate 3, according to Eurogamer. Robertson will be familiar to video game fans, as she previously played the role of antagonist Lady Dimitrescu in Resident Evil Village.
Orin the Red will be a shapeshifting antagonistic character in the game who will appear throughout the game to test players.
Numerous new details have been revealed this week about Baldur’s Gate 3, including the fact that a standard playthrough of the upcoming RPG will last between 75 and 100 hours.
During a presentation this week, developer Larian released a new teaser video and also talked about some of the game’s features. Among other things, players will have access to a maturity slider to adjust a character’s age, and Tiefling characters can customize their horns with different colors. The studio also talked about multiclassing, with some more powerful classes not becoming available until later in the game.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is coming to PC on August 3 and to PS5 on September 6. The game is currently available as an early access title on PC.
