Atlas Fallen releases new trailer – That’s Gaming

For years there has been much anticipation for the action-RPG Atlas Fallen. In a trailer just released, the developer has provided further details on what to expect in that area.

A divine gauntlet will serve as your main tool in Atlas Fallen’s combat, and with its ability to turn sand into different shapes, you’ll have access to three different weapons, two of which you can equip simultaneously. Those three weapons are a massive and versatile sand-crawler, a whip aimed at long range and the specialized knuckle-dust for close-range combat. As you progress through the game, you can also evolve and strengthen weapons, making them larger and more deadly.

Players will also have to account for a Momentum meter. Each successful attack fills up the meter a bit, giving you powerful skills, attacks and special effects. However, there will also be a risk-reward mechanism, because although your weapons become more powerful as your Momentum increases, you will also become more vulnerable to damage.

In addition to moment-to-moment action, Atlas Fallen also allows players to go deeper into building their character. There will be multiple different armor kits to collect, each with their own unique stats, while of course being upgradeable. There are also more than 150 Essence Stones to find and equip, each with everything from special attack abilities to buffs, debuffs and more. There are also bonuses, statistic upgrades and more.

The trailer also offers details on the many types of enemies you will face, from smaller opponents to large and terrifying bosses, and details how, similar to Monster Hunter, players can target specific body parts when fighting monsters to take them out in different ways, drop unique loot and nullify specific attacks associated with those body parts. Check out the trailer below for more details.
