At least three dead and two wounded after shooting at shopping mall in Indianapolis (USA)

At least three people have died and two others have been injured this Sunday after a shooting at a shopping mall in Indianapolis, in the United States.

US police have indicated that the main suspect has died at the Greenwood Park Mall in Indiana, as reported by ‘ABC News’.

The attacker was “shot by an armed individual” who was in the courtyard, said the mayor of Greenwood, Mark Myers.

Greenwood police chief Jim Ison explained that the department received calls alerting about a shooting in the food court of the mall around 18.05 hours (local time).

Ison has detailed that the alleged shooter was carrying a rifle with several magazines of ammunition, when he has entered the food court and started shooting.

The Greenwood Police Department has asked citizens for anyone who witnessed the incident to call or visit police to provide details.

Authorities have asked the public to stay away from the area at this time while they conduct an investigation to determine the cause of what happened.
