Aston Martin and whisky distiller Bowmore have teamed up as part of a collaboration that previously included a luxury whisky option from the ARC series. The first part of this debuted a while back, but now the pair has also presented the second and final part of this collaboration.
Known as Bowmore ARC-54, this is a very premium whiskey variant as it combines a 54-year-old Bowmore whiskey with a luxury decanter made to somewhat (and somehow) resemble the Aston Martin Valkyrie hypercar.
A press release states that the spirit was distilled in 1968 and spent 54 years in a 2nd Fill European Oak Sherry Butt and a 3rd Fill American Oak Hogshead, all within Bowmore’s No. 1 Vaults. This is said to come together to create a drink that is “encapsulates infinite layers of flavor to captivate every sense”.
According to the carafe, it would have elements that mirror the Valkyrie, including the 1,100 kg downforce-enabling full-length venturi tunnels. Aston Martin explains: “Bowmore ARC-54 is sculpted with precision, creating a striking sense of fluidity in the lines and styling. The shape is defined by these fluid aerodynamics and demonstrates the shared philosophy through the diffuser-inspired glass sculpture to enhance the fluid reflections of the whiskey inside.”
The Bowmore ARC-54 is on sale now, at an unconfirmed but probably very expensive price tag.
