The Armed Forces of Ukraine have denounced early this Monday that Russian troops “violate the norms of international humanitarian law, bombing civilians.”
Specifically, in their daily report, they have explained that the Russian forces continue their offensive with “the launch of rockets and artillery attacks against the settlements in Ukraine.”
“They take women and children hostage, deploy equipment, ammunition in residential neighborhoods of cities, artificially create humanitarian crises in occupied settlements,” they have detailed on their official Facebook profile.
Thus, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have said that the Russian forces have been depriving the inhabitants of the city of Irpin of light and water for more than three days, and they also do not have access to food or water because they prohibit residents from leaving their houses.
“The Group of the Defense Forces of Ukraine conducts a defensive operation in all directions of the opponent’s targets,” they said.
Thus, they have emphasized that “the enemy continues to suffer great losses in vital force, ground equipment and means of air attack.”
This Monday is the twelfth day of conflict since Putin announced the military operation in Ukraine and the Ukrainian Defense Forces have denounced that “on social networks, the enemy continues to distribute content created from the first person, which negatively covers the activities of the Forces Ukrainian Armed Forces”.
