Xiaomi 12 Lite is the cheapest version of the first Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 phone, ready for launch in the near future.
Xiaomi unveiled the new Xiaomi 12 flagship at the end of December, the first high-end smartphone based on the most powerful Qualcomm chipset of the moment costing the equivalent of 950 euros in store offerings in China. But this is not the only one, Xiaomi is also preparing a Mi 12 Pro and Mi 12 Lite version, respectively.
The low-cost model The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite comes equipped with a mid-range chipset from Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G. The phone has 6GB / 8GB RAM and 128GB / 256GB internal storage. LCD-IPS screen supports FHD + resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
The camera has a main sensor with 64MP resolution, 8MP ultra-wide module and another 5MP module, serving the macro capture function and the application of DoF effects in portrait photos.
Except for the very similar exterior design, the Lite model has few features in common, the version based on SD 8 Gen 1, the latter having more processing power and better quality finishes. However, this time we find an AMOLED screen instead of the LCS (used with Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite), but with a fingerprint sensor mounted on the side frame and not under the screen.
The list of features is completed with a 16MP front camera (compared to 20MP on the previous model), but of better quality. The new smartphone will be delivered with MIUI 13 interface, superimposed over the Android 12 operating system
