Zelensky expressly addressed Putin in his last speech, hours after one of his advisers stated that Kiev is willing to negotiate a “neutral” status if, in return, it receives security guarantees from Moscow, reports the UNIAN agency. .

However, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has mistrusted the Ukrainian side and has accused Zelenski of “lying”, since he had refused in recent years to apply the Minsk Agreements to end the conflict in the Donbas.

“He has been seeking refuge in the West. There are no guarantees that there will be practical results,” the head of Russian diplomacy lamented in an appearance.

In his latest message, Zelensky also wanted to make it clear that the Ukrainian Armed Forces will continue to face the Russian military offensive, which in recent hours has already become palpable in Kiev and surrounding areas, and has even urged European citizens with military experience to join the resistance.
