The Premier League and Electronic Arts (EA) have announced the latest season of the ePremier League, part of the EA Sports FC Pro circuit. Now in its eighth season, the competition comes in a new format, with players competing for a total prize pool of £100,000 and guaranteed places at the FC Pro World Cup 2026.
Registration for the ePremier League is open to UK-based players aged 16 and over, allowing participants to represent the online club of their choice.
Schedule and format
There will be three open online qualifiers to be held November 26-27, December 3-4 and December 10-11. These qualifiers offer players the opportunity to move up the club rankings and make the playoffs in January next year.
Successful EA FC 26 players will compete in the playoffs from January 14-22, 2026. They will be contested in a double-elimination format and offer a direct path to the ePremier League group stage.
This season, clubs can sign EA FC 26 players directly for the group stage through Fast Tracking. In addition, a club’s performance in this phase will determine its qualification for the knockout phase. The group stage will be played from February 28 to March 1, 2026, where clubs will face each other in one-on-one matches.
The final weekend of the season will feature the playoffs on March 28 and the finals on March 29, with an updated bracket format in which one team will be crowned the season champion.
Over the past seven seasons, we have witnessed some incredible storylines, with the world’s best players facing off against emerging new talent. We can’t wait to see the drama unfold once again in EA SPORTS FCâ„¢ 26 and find out who will be crowned ePremier League champion this season.
Will Brass, Premier League Commercial Director
This season will also see new clubs join the ePremier League, reflecting their real-life performance. Leeds United, Burnley and Sunderland were promoted to the Premier League last season, so they will appear as clubs that UK players will be able to join.
