Netflix is trying out physical and in-person entertainment, all by creating locations known as Netflix Houses. The idea is basically a mini-themed park, where fans can visit and interact with key Netflix brands by participating in stylized activities, while also eating designed food.
It’s certainly an unusual set-up, but Netflix is very firmly committed to the House idea, so much so that the first two locations will already open later this year in Philadelphia’s King of Prussia Mall and Dallas’ Galleria Dallas. This will be a “permanent year-round home for fans that brings to life some of our most popular shows and films – including Wednesday, Squid Game, ONE PIECE, Stranger Things and A Knives Out Mystery franchise – through the first of their kind immersive story-driven experiences.” as Netflix explains.
But this won’t be all. A third location is already planned for the Strip in Las Vegas, expected to open in 2027.
The two upcoming locations will offer different options for fans to experience, with Philly offering Wednesday, One Piece, VR games, mini golf and a Tudum theater, while Dallas instead offers Stranger Things, Squid Game and a RePLAY arcade. Head here to see exactly what each house has in store.
