The next game from Tarsier Studios, known for Little Nightmares, hot Reanimal. The title breathes a similar atmosphere, but throws in new perspectives and dimensions to further ratchet up the tension. IGN has almost 13 minutes of new gameplay shared showing the opening stages of the game.
The adventure begins when the main characters, a brother and sister, arrive by boat on a mysterious island with an abandoned shunting yard. There they meet one of three friends they are trying to rescue. Exciting moments soon follow: the duo must operate switches and flee from snake-like, stretching men. As if that were not enough, the pair is also chased by a tall, hat-wearing entity that effortlessly tears through doors.
Whether they manage to escape all this, the game deliberately leaves it up to your imagination. Reanimal is playable both solo, with the AI controlling the second character, and in online co-op. Split-screen support is sadly lacking – the brother and sister must always stay together on screen.
Reanimal appears in the first quarter of 2026 for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch 2.
