Hell is Us is playable at San Diego Comic-Con – That’s Gaming

To celebrate that Hell is Us present at San Diego Comic-Con 2025, publisher NACON, in collaboration with AMD, studio Rogue Factor and Dead Good Comics are proud to announce that they have collaborated on a 16-page comic, which is a prequel to the story of the game’s protagonist. Hell is Us is a 3rd-person action-adventure game that combines melee combat, exploration and an engaging story. The game will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store) starting September 4, 2025.

From July 24 to 27, visitors to San Diego Comic-Con can try out a demo version of the game at the Restart Gaming Lounge, powered by AMD, at the Marriott Marquis Marina Hotel. Hell is Us is fully optimized for AMD CPUs and GPUs and will feature the powerful FSR 4 technology upon release.

Thanks to a demo on Steam and the Epic Games Store, players could already begin their adventure last month and play as protagonist Remi, who is searching for his origins in Hadea, a fictional country ravaged by a terrible civil war and also invaded by strange, dangerous creatures.

On Aug. 6, through a 16-page digital comic book, players will be able to discover the events that took place just before the start of the game that led to Remi leaving his post as a peacekeeper to infiltrate Hadea.

The comic was created in collaboration with Dead Good Comics and includes artwork by Andrea Scalmazzi (Dune: House Corrino, Samuel Stern) and Antonio Antro (Lego Batman Magazine, Power Rangers), and is based on a story by Stu Taylor (Crusader Kings III: Many Roads to Power, Octobriana and the Underground, Warhammer Monthly), under the supervision of Jonathan Jacques-Belletête theCreative and Art Director of Hell is Us
