In a rather surprising turn of events, pop star Ava Max has decided to cancel a worldwide tour that was only announced two weeks ago. The tour was scheduled to begin in Los Angeles in September, before continuing through the US and eventually crossing the pond to then conquer Europe and the UK. A total of dozens of tour dates were planned, many with sold-out shows, and now this will not happen.
The pop star took to Instagram to announce the cancellation and explain the reasoning. Max states: “Postponing my tour is [de] hardest decision I’ve had to make, but when I perform for you guys, it has to be of a level I’m happy with, and it’s just not there yet.”
The postponed dates have not yet been confirmed, but this was originally supposed to follow the August 22 release of her new album.
