In 2019, when Falcon’s Flight was first unveiled, there were a few skeptics among roller coaster fans, who believed the attraction in Qiddiya might not live up to expectations. But recently we reported that construction was finished and now appears to be testing.
In a video posted by Coasters and Brews on Twitter/X, we see a rendering of the roller coaster taking off, with the caption that testing for the world’s largest roller coaster has begun. The plan remains for people to ride Falcon’s Flight by 2025, making Six Flags Qiddiya City a must-visit destination for die-hard roller coaster fans.
Falcon’s Flight occupies a whopping 4,250 meters of track, 163 meters of which is the airtime hill. With a height of 195 meters, this roller coaster is sure to attract amusement park enthusiasts when it comes time to properly unveil it. Until then, we can just imagine sitting in the seats of the roller coaster while test videos come out.
