New expansion Still Wakes the Deep revealed – That’s Gaming

From acclaimed developer The Chinese Room comes Still Wakes the Deep: Siren’s Rest, a paid story expansion for Still Wakes the Deep, winner of three BAFTA Games Awards. Published by award-winning indie publisher Secret Mode, Siren’s Rest will be released June 18 for Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, and PlayStation 5.

The story takes place more than a decade after the events of Still Wakes the Deep. Players dive beneath the waves of the North Sea to discover what remains of the Beira D. Swim through the wreckage underwater, armed with a cutting torch, crowbar and camera, and try to reconstruct the last moments of the rig’s crew. But beware: there are things lurking in the depths that even the sea cannot claim.

Siren’s Rest features a new story written by Sagar Beroshi (Helldivers 2) and introduces a new voice cast. Lois Chimimba (Doctor Who, Shetland) plays Mhairi alongside Lorn Macdonald (Bridgerton, The Lazarus Project) and David Menkin (Final Fantasy XVI, Alan Wake 2), and the cast is again directed by Kate Saxon.
