Yorgos Lanthimos’ Bugonia hits theaters in October

After Poor Things, The Favourite and Kinds of Kindness, it seems the team of Emma Stone and Yorgos Lanthimos isn’t going anywhere anytime soon, and now they have Jesse Plemons along for the ride.

The film was unveiled last year and went into production last summer. Now, according to Deadline, it aims to be released in October, specifically on the 31st for wider release, with limited screenings starting on the 24th.

The film revolves around two conspiracy theorists who kidnap a CEO and believe she is an alien secretly trying to destroy Earth. The film is a remake of a South Korean film called Save the Green Planet.
