Warner Bros. Games and HBO have released a trailer for the upcoming smartphone game Game of Thrones: Kingsroad. In the trailer, which you can watch below, we get a first glimpse of the story, some gameplay and impressive facial animations for the characters.
It is notable that Game of Thrones: Kingsroad features highly detailed facial animations, especially for characters such as Jon Snow. Actor Kit Harington, for example, is impressively rendered. In the trailer, we see a number of characters pass by, ranging from the warriors of the Night’s Watch to Jamie Lannister in King’s Landing.
In terms of gameplay, it seems Game of Thrones: Kingsroad offer real-time action combat, with players taking on all manner of threats, from bandits and wild animals to the terrifying white walkers.
Although there is no final release date yet for Game of Thrones: Kingsroad, a release date has been set, however: the game will appear in 2025 for iOS and Android.
