Spike Nations 2024: details of VALORANT’s off-season competition in EMEA

Spike Nationsthe competition of VALORANT of the period VCT OFF//SEASONis back with a new edition to bring together the best talents of the EMEA region. Professional players from VCT/VCL and Game Changers will be representing Spain, France, Italy, Germany, United Kingdom y Turkey to lead their respective countries to victory.

As in the last edition, Spike Nations will be divided into. two phasesone national and one international. Each participating ensemble is headed by a famous content creator from their country of origin, who serves as a ambassador and broadcasts his team’s matches on his Twitch channel.

The goal of Spike Nations is to demonstrate mastery among six of the strongest VALORANT countries in the EMEA region. The competition is based on the central idea that esports has the power to bring together people from different backgrounds and cultures through competitive spirit and fellowship.

The 2024 edition of the Spike Nations, which will be held entirely in online format and is part of Riot Games’ official VCT OFF///SEASON events, is organized by GGTech Entertainment and is supported by Twitch.

Who are the Spanish team

Mixwell is Spain’s ambassador to Spike Nations 2024. The national team, which has Aer0z y Roberas coaches, is made up of six male and female players: Fit1nho, Guardy, Saiz, Ease, Toki, Annie, Devilasxa y Leyre. Spain’s matches can be followed live at official channel of Mixwell on Twitch (twitch.tv/mixwell).

The competitive format

The national phase will decide who will represent the countries at Spike Nations 2024. Following the publication of the lists of the 12 pre-selected male and female playersThe teams are in the midst of a testing window to determine the final call-up list (with the exception of Spain, Italy and the United Kingdom, which have already confirmed their list).

The October 31 all teams must submit their final rosters, which will be composed of six members. As of November 18the international phase will take place. The six countries will face each other in Single Round Robin (round robin) until November 27. A few days later, the top four teams will face each other in the Semifinals in Bo3 (the December 1), with the ambition of achieving a pass for the Grand Finalto be held at Bo5 next December 2.
