Awkwafina fires up UK-US debate by bringing pigeons into the equation – Migration

Last week tensions between the UK and the US ran absurdly high when an American scientist published a statement claiming they knew how to make the perfect cup of tea, including adding salt to the drink. Needless to say, this led to turmoil in the UK, and the U.S. Embassy in London was forced to publish a response denouncing the scientist’s claims before once again jabbing at the British people by saying that the best way to make tea was to microwave it…

As you may have guessed, tensions between the two nations are unprecedented, and now actress Awkwafina wants to fan the flames by bringing pigeons into the equation. As part of the Migration media tour, she revealed that British pigeons are more beautiful than their American counterparts.

“I’ve had some interactions. I feel like [Britse duiven] are more polite. They still run fast, but not as fast, you know what I mean?”

Migration opens in the UK today, having already arrived in other markets around the world by the end of December 2023.
