The LCS 2024 Spring Season has started, this will be the first split of the eleventh year of the NA professional league. As we previously reported, eight teams will be competing instead of ten. Golden Guardians and Evil Geniuses will not be present in the league, and the historic North American organization Team SoloMid (TSM) will not be present either, as it sold its place to Shopify Rebellion.
Format
- Participation of eight teams.
- Double Round Robin.
- Best-of-one games.
- The top six teams will qualify for the playoffs.
- The top four teams start in the top bracket.
- The fifth and sixth ranked teams start in the lower playoff bracket.
- The spring playoffs will be played as a best-of-five game.
- The LCS 2024 Spring Playoffs champion and runner-up will advance to MSI, where they will represent NA and LCS talent.

Calendar
The LCS Spring Split 2023 kicked off on January 20, 2024 and will offer intense League of Legends action. For now these are the first official dates:
- Week 1: January 20 and 21.
- Week 2: January 27-28.
- Week 3: February 2, 3 and 4.

Fans will be able to watch all LCS matches live on lolesports.com, Twitch and YouTube. As for the Spring Split final, it will be necessary to follow the social networks as it will be announced at a later date.
