Much of the team has moved on to Project Orion, its successor for the current generation, but Cyberpunk 2077 continues to receive support from CD Projekt RED. On Twitter, it confirmed that a new patch is coming “sometime” next week to address “the most common issues” reported by players, such as Finisher animations.
There will be more information after this weekend, but the developer revealed that they are investigating issues such as Auto Fixers in Phantom Liberty. Update 2.0 would be the last major content update for Cyberpunk 2077, which arrived before the expansion and revised perks, Cyberware and more, while adding vehicular combat and a revamped police system.
However, the development team announced Update 2.1, which added the long-awaited subway system. It also added meeting events with partners, a portable radio to listen to music on the go and improvements to boss battles such as Adam Smasher.
