Automata’s 2B announced as next DLC fighter – That’s Gaming

In addition to confirming that Lucilius would arrive in Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising on Jan. 16, Cygames revealed the second DLC fighter. It is 2B from NieR: Automata, voiced by Yui Ishikawa in Japanese and Kira Buckland in English, just like in the game. Check out the first gameplay trailer below.

2B is armed with Virtuous Contract and Virtuous Treaty, although she also uses her fists and Pod to fire at opponents. Her Super Skybound Art includes a long combo, ending with three Pods called to fire. So far, it manages to capture the look and feel of the character, including the animations of in-game combos.

2B joins the selection in late February 2024, available as part of Character Pass 1 and standalone for $7.99. Stay tuned for more details on her fighting style in the coming weeks. Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising is available for PS4, PS5 and PC.
